Moscow School of Economics of the M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University holds the First online scientific conference consisting of seminars’ series “Economic Challenges of COVID-19 Pandemic” on ZOOM platform.

A wide range of issues related to the global consequences of coronavirus in social, economic, demographic, financial, socio-political and other fields will be discussed at the seminars.

(Working language is English).

Among the participants:

  • The MSE MSU Deputy Director for graduate and postgraduate education Victor M. Polterovich
  • Professors, scholars, graduate students and students of the Moscow School of Economics, Moscow State University
  • Heads and leading experts of RAS Institutes

At the seminar, which will be held on June 16 at 6 p.m. (Moscow time), a presentation prepared jointly with the Director of the Institute of Socio-Economic Studies of Population the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor V.V. Lokosov will be held by:

  • Marina P. Pisklakova-Parker, Ph.D Sociology, senior researcher of the Gender Studies Division, ISESP FCTAS RAS

Topic of the presentation: “Socio-Economic Consequences of COVID-19 for the Modern Russian Society and Households”

Director of the MSE MSU, Full member of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Professor Alexander Nekipelov, will moderate the seminar.
